To qualify for RSOG conference sponsorship, you must meet these requirements:

Active RSOG member (Obstetricians & Gynecologists in Rwanda)

Resident Student
OBGYN resident under the 4 by 4 project in Rwanda

Research Relevance
Research aligns with conference themes and OB/GYN

Research Quality
Demonstrates quality, originality and significance

Conference Impact
Conference is prestigious and internationally recognised

Commitment
Willing to share knowledge gained with RSOG community

Presentation
Present abstract, speak, or participate as an exhibitor

Report
Submit a comprehensive conference report after attendance

How It Works
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for RSOG conference sponsorship.
Check Your Eligibility
Confirm you are an active RSOG member or OBGYN resident under the 4×4 project and that you have an abstract accepted or a speaker role at the conference.
Prepare Your Documents
Gather your research/abstract details, a detailed budget outline (Excel), and a letter of recommendation from your institution.
Submit Your Application
Click Apply for Sponsorship and fill in the form. Upload all three required files before submitting.
Wait for Review
RSOG committee reviews all applications and notifies you by email with a decision within 1–2 months.
Attend & Report Back
If approved, attend the conference and submit a comprehensive report to RSOG after your return.
Pro tip: Applications with detailed research information, clear budget breakdowns, and strong recommendation letters are more likely to be approved. Start preparing early!
