The General Surgeon will be responsible for providing comprehensive surgical care to patients across all age groups, including the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of surgical conditions. The role includes conducting elective and emergency surgical procedures, providing pre-operative evaluation and postoperative care, monitoring patient recovery, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards. In addition, the General Surgeon will contribute to RSOG’s educational mission by participating in the training, supervision, and mentorship of residents and medical students, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals committed to safe and quality anesthesia practice.
