Position Overview:

The Obstetrician and Gynecologist will deliver quality reproductive and maternal health services at Nyagatare District Hospital, managing pregnancy, labor, and delivery, as well as diagnosing and treating disorders related to the female reproductive system.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   • Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological services.
   • Perform gynecological surgeries, cesarean sections, and other procedures.
   • Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders.
2. Team Collaboration:
   • Work with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare providers.
   • Provide training and support to medical staff.
3. Community Health:
   • Participate in outreach programs to improve maternal health awareness.
4. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience.
• Skills:
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
