Program Overview

A year-long professional development pathway to strengthen Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery services in Rwanda.

The Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RSOG) invite eligible specialists to express their interest in participating in a one-year continuous Professional development program in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIS) to be implemented in Rwanda.
Requirements

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

    Demonstrated motivation to participate in the program
  • 2
    Commitment to completing the full one-year training program
  • 3
    Commitment to remain in the Rwandan health system and contribute to strengthening MIS services for at least two years following completion of the program
  • 4
    Institutional support and endorsement
  • 5
    Availability of opportunities to practice MIS at the applicant's health facility
  • 6
    Availability of MIS equipment at the applicant's institution
  • 7
    Previous training and/or experience in minimally invasive surgery
